Our structural engineering team executed a comprehensive new commercial roller shutter installation. Because this system utilizes human mechanical force rather than automated propulsion, the installation demanded absolute precision in structural alignment and mechanical tensioning to guarantee a frictionless lifting cycle.

Key technical interventions included:

• Aluminium Curtain Fabrication: Installation of a high-grade, interlocking aluminium slat curtain. This extruded profile maximizes tensile strength against forced entry while drastically reducing the overall mechanical lifting load compared to traditional galvanized steel.
• Spring Barrel Calibration: Precision load-balancing of the central high-tension torsion springs. The internal barrel was meticulously calibrated to accurately counterbalance the exact weight of the new aluminium curtain, ensuring effortless manual lifting and controlled descent.
• Structural Guide Rail Integration: Plumb-line mounting of the vertical guide channels to eliminate lateral drag, ensuring the curtain travels seamlessly into the fully retracted overhead position without structural binding.
